I had to watch it four times before I believed what I heard (thank god for Tivo/DVR)... wow! Yes, baby! Let's do it!

Okay, I think that guy is high, but I want what he's smoking!

Okay just watched it again. Muse and Sanders did very well. Made us proud.....

Seriously the "College Football Expert/Insider" did pick us to win CUSA... even though the deutschebag host introduced the next team as a team that beat us last year.... Tulane. Uh, dude, I was in NOLA last year.... I think we won that game.

Ditto at Public House on Greenville Ave. One of the GREATEST non-stadium college football experiences I've ever had! ;)

Well that was probably one of the greatest SMU road victories I have ever witnessed .... not a packed crowd. But awesome nonetheless... heck it was one of the only SMU road victories I have witnessed. With the home on the road game vs. Arkansas being the greatest..... but that technically wasn't an away game. But whatever.

Anyhow... the Tulane game.... and NOLA.... just awesome. I will be going back in a year plus when we play there again.

Watched it at the Public House on lower Greenville, and had a blast. Met someone pretty amazing that night (over a lot of liquor). Still together … and still drinking together, too.

Holy Peruna! He DID pick the Mustangs to win C-USA over Southern Mississippi...and does the graphic indicate that the championship game would be played at Ford Stadium in Dallas, too? It says Southern Mississippi v SMU...home team is always listed last!

I hope I wasn't the only one who screamed at the TV when he said that. :x

Bennett and the players emphasized how the end of last season was a big disappointment and they want more this year. Muse and Sanders both look like they are hungry. Bennett mentioned that two former starters are coming off an injury and will be back on the d-line this year (Jones and ???). I don't know why Sanders went to the Blitz instead of Willis since they talked a lot about Willis. Although Sanders is clearly going to be the go-to receiver this year. Sanders said despite losing Pellerin and others, he thought our receiving corps would be faster this year. He also said, he didn't want to be just another player at UT and wanted to go to a program where he could make a difference (perhaps that's why he was chosen to attend). Bennett stressed that the team is deeper and that he has only taken the redshirt off two freshmen per year for the last two years. It won't be easy, but this is our best chance to shine in a long time. CUSA west is as good as last year. Rice returns 15 starters. Tulsa is loaded still. UTEP and UH are always dangerous. And of course Tulane has a new coach. We also have to play UCF, Memphis and USM in cross-divisional games with USM on the road.

Maybe he meant the o-line? Both Caleb Peveto and Sean Lobo had offseason shoulder surgery.

Hmmm, more evidence that he's forgotten more about football....

Me too, but probably not at the time... I mean who has CSTV? But hopefully they'll be sending out that clip or some such.

Since I saw the replay at 11:15 p.m., and I was getting ready for bed, I probably misheard what Coach Bennett said, he was referring to Berry and Griffin, I think, but he might have said Jones instead of Griffith. I can't swear to it, since I was pretty wiped out last night. Someone else can listen to the tape and report in.
