According to the DMN story, we are at about 85 percent of our goal of getting season tickets to 5,000 -- a realistic goal, I think -- we stand at about 4,300 with three weeks to play.

May not make that number, but if we play well/beat Tech, that could cause some folks to take another look.

Question 1: Would the ticket office sell season tickets on a prorated basis. I'm guessing it would.

Question 2: Can't believe I'm asking this. But if we make a bowl game, wouldn't season-ticket holders get first shot at seats?

Probably, but you can be sure that if we do not make a bowl the season ticket holders will get first shot at the coach.

From an earlier thread I believe that someone called in and found out that you should be receiving them, well, today.

I would have used 'we' (as in we will be receiving them today) but my bro and I get tickets together and they get shipped to him. So hence 'you', because - regardless - I will not be receiving any today.

just for comparison I believe I saw the other day that TCU is at about 13,000 season tickets so we have about 1/3 of the fanbase-about right.

1/3 sounds about right, after all, we went 6-6 and 5-6 (and those are the good years!) the last two years and they have gone 11-2 and 11-1. I would think it should be worse than a 1/3 the fan base.

Lets just get some wins up in this biz-nitch.

I was told today, that all of the tickets on the east side, from goal to goal are sold. They are holding a few on the eastside for possible season ticket buyers.

Does that mean we on the West side will not have to look at that big empty space they will not let students sit in?

I heard a rumor that they might allow students on the grassy knoll for the tech game...any truth to that?

Is that just for the Tech game or for the season?

Just called over to the ticket office. And to piggyback what Thadfilms said, we should be getting them this week.

The person said some went out last week and the others are going out this week. You are encouraged to call if you have any problems.

BTW, they estimated they were at 4,500 season tickets.
