8/12 on TV but the rest live at Ford. No reason to miss a single game this year!

Let me get this straight. We get the lead announcer for the Mavs and the lead announcer for the Cowboys calling our games on Channel 21? That is big stuff, folks. Something going on over there at the Hilltop.

Not to be argumentative, but how do you know it's those 3. Given those are the three remaining road games, what makes you think it wouldn't be double televised (e.g. USM game on CSTV and Channel 21)? Just a thought. So you can put your Jump to Conclusions mat away now.
There ya go, perunapower.

Seriously. And it will be FANTASTIC to have ol' Followill back for at least one game.
I'm going to miss Rich and Craig... but they will be with me for a few games I'm sure.
Anybody know who this Bill Jones character is?
Also, what do you think was meant by the "also air run CSTV"? Do you think it means that they will be on later, tape delay type thing? Or that they will be used as the feed for All Acess?

Just noticed them yesterday coming into work, and didn't have a chance to drive around to see how many there are. They have the Pony Up symbol on one side of the lightpost and the full home schedule on the other side of the lightpost.
That kind of behaviour is going to actually convince folks that we're the only Division I team in one of the largest cities in the US of A. Very cool stuff.
Same banners can be seen on Hillcrest Ave. from Desco Drive (one block north of Park Lane) southbound to Del Norte Drive (two blocks north of Northwest Highway). Yes, jt...I was pleasantly surprised.

Thanks guys I knew I knew the name... but no offense to Bill Jones, but with a name like that, well it could have been Bob Smith, you know, kind of just blends in.

Bill Jones is still a 9:00 sports announcer on one of those idependents probably Channel 21-saw him last nite. He's reasonably knowledgeable about college football as he formerly covered Texas Tech in Lubbock.

come to think of it, Jones and longtime Tech announcer Jack Dale have very similar sounding voices

For us old-timers,
Brad Sham used to call our basketball games on KRLD in the late 1980s. I think he called the 28-7, 1987-88 season. So while his connection with SMU is distant, he has one.
Also, Bill Jones is an OU alum. One of the rumors was he was let go from the Rangers was that he talked too much OU and of course, Rangers owner and UT alum, Tom Hicks, wasn't exactly thrilled to hear about the crimson and cream.
I love the intense effort we are making. I'm proud of the school getting behind this and doing this. Now, it's up to the team to deliver.
