Shall we be annoying?

there are plenty including Phil Bennett who felt the same way about what SMU was doing in mid 1990s. Coop was just one of the few media members knowledgeable enough to realize how ridiculous SMU's Model was. SMU deserved every bit of the criticism and more especially more from its own alumni who most sat silent or too uninformed to even know the truth.

How about nine forty, ten, or ten twenty... probably ten being optimum, in my opinion - why?

First hour on Mondays is always about whatever happened over the weekend. Not matter what we are banging away with, the format - most of the time - goes first segment biggest story, second segment a different story, third segment interview with somebody involved with either story.

Hit them at ten and they'll have time to take note of it, and it's still early enough in the show for them to ract and change a later segment.

But, I'll agree to 9AM if that's the consensus... I understand, hit them at the beginning and catch the stragglers getting into work... plus give them plenty of time to change a later segment to talk Pony football... likelihood is however, they won't be able to scramble to put together a segment.

Anyhow, I am game fior whenever... let's come to a consensus, and I am there.

Could not disagree more. That man knows more about every sport than just about anyone alive. He can come across a little abrasively ("Hang on a minute! HANG ON A MINUTE!!") - that's true. But he's by far the most studious and well-informed sports reporter in DFW.

And, for the record, he has been to a lot of SMU games, football and basketball. He learns about a subject before he speaks.
