I saw this thread and thought to myself, this ought to be amusing. I was wrong. The classlessness it takes to mock a tragedy (the death of Meaghan Bosch back in May) is repulsive. For the most part all of this back-and-forth banter is all in jest, but in my opinion this is way too far over the line. It doesn't matter whether her choices led to her death or not, it is, in my opinion, disrespectful and classless to even make jokes like that.

I hope we beat the hell out of them even more now.

I hate to say it, but many of them are not aware of what happened (nor probably caught the reference). When the majority learn the story they will apologize and be pissed at their own. I do look forward to them coming down but the 2% of their fans that can't move beyond the past [deleted] me off.

Ok Perunapower I just re-read the link and Quoner is a [deleted]. If you notice, no one else caught his reference. He is not welcome at Ford Stadium. GreenMiner better explain him self as well. Hopefully he thought Quoner was making a funny joke - not a sick joke.

A body found near Waco has been identified as that of a 21-year-old Southern Methodist University student reported missing Friday in Dallas, police said late Tuesday.

Construction workers found the body of Meaghan Bosch in a portable toilet in the 500 block of Connie Drive in Hewitt, authorities said. It appears she was placed there, and there were no obvious signs of trauma, authorities say. The medical examiner will determine the cause of death.

The last anyone heard from Ms. Bosch was about 4 p.m. Thursday, when she sent her ex-boyfriend a text message saying she was at the home of a drug dealer, according to her family.

Relatives said police questioned the dealer, and he admitted having lunch with Ms. Bosch about 2 or 3 p.m. but denied she was ever at his Dallas home.

Ms. Bosch missed a dinner appointment with her boyfriend Thursday night, and he informed her parents Friday that she never showed up, according to the family. Her parents then alerted Dallas police, who began investigating.

Ms. Bosch's truck was found at her off-campus apartment in the 6000 block of East University Boulevard near Skillman Street. The vehicle was unlocked and the keys were inside, police said. Her apartment was locked, her family said.

"The police don't think she was abducted because there were no signs of a struggle," said her father, Joseph Bosch.

"They think she may have gone off on her own or went with someone she knew."

He said the family noticed a change in her behavior about two months ago, when they learned she was using cocaine.

The Bosch family offered a $10,000 reward for information about her disappearance.

it doesnt matter if he was trying to be funny or make a semi-sick joke, this person is a scumbag beyond immeasurable proportion. i wish i could get my hands on him. and the guy who wrote a half page venting jealousy about the boulevard, plz get a life. MEAN JEALOUS GREEN

For the record, it was two. Quoner and greenminer.

Edit: I double-checked and UNTFan23 didn't directly contribute to this disgusting joke, but he did crack a joke about general college hazing deaths (still crude, in my opinion)

Instead of whining, why not just make a joke back at them, like for example you hope these posters hurry and put their educations from the Andrew Smith School of Driving to good use.

What a bunch of losers. No wonder NTSU can't get out of the ShunnedBelt.

Yeah, thanks go to NT03 for standing up to Quoner.

As for what you said, jt. Not everything should be responded to with a joke. If it was a statement about the trouble Willis got into last year, maybe a joke. If it was about the death penalty, I could have responded with a joke. Anything football or academically related, I could have rebuked with a remark about the Shunned Belt or the NTSU or whatever I had felt like calling them. But then again, if that's all I would have found this thread wouldn't be here. If you really think that me responding to a sick, disgusting joke with another joke would have been more effective than "whining" about it then you have gone out past the buoys.
