What is sad about that list is that we could not get Matt Stafford to stay and we could not get Haugabook admitted.

We play against 5 on the list. (6 if we get Troy in a bowl game)

I always secretly think these things are rigged and the associated schools trade spots on the watch lists. For example, SMU puts TCU's RB on the Doak Walker watch list and TCU puts SMU's QB on the O'Brien watch list. Probably untrue, I am sure, because I like to believe in conspiracies. Just like I once thought there were referees fixing games in the NBA.

Because I wasn't kicking anyone in the family parts as I was posting it.

Agreed. Brian Brohm will get some votes, but Brennan is unbelievable.

On the plus side, if Willis makes this list as a sophomore, this will be commonplace by the time he's a senior.

True enough. He's a longshot candidate this year, but I think his chances will greatly improve during his upperclassmen campaigns.

Don't get me wrong — I'm not saying he'll win it (see school size in the NCAA's grand $cheme of things, etc.) but to be recognized for several years as one of the nation's best .... it's good to see SMU mentioned in those conversations.

At least with a name like that he is a shoe in for an endorsement for Preparation H.
