Sub-plots to the season:

While we are all hoping for a Bowl/Championship season, and we'll be following the Mustangs as they work their way towards that goal, what are your favorite sub-plots?

Mine are probably:

The Redemption of DeMyron Martin's Career.
After going from the top of the expectation ladder to the bottom of the doghouse, Can Martin show that his sophomore slump was the anomaly and return to his Freshman Form?

The Secondary School.
How will the youth in the secondary keep up with a tough schedule, especially on the road? From the sounds of it, we'll be seeing some time with HS freshmen (Bailey and Bell) out there.

Gumbo after the Plague.
Seriously, this guy went from Deaths Door to starting Wide-receiver over the course of the spring and summer. It's a great story already, and if he blows up like we know he can, it'll be priceless.

And of course, if you know me, you know I love the lines:

How will the O-Line respond to a Spring and Summer full of Vitamin "V"? With experience and V-Factor, can they dominate the C-USA defenses by providing Willis with time, and Martin with Room?

What are you looking forward to seeing in a smaller scope?

Just once I'd like to see Willis get through an entire active season gay stalker-free.

the better you are, the more "haters"/"gay" stalkers you will have... My only hope for the season is that we have a good enough year that JT's "realist" views will translate into him having "expectations" of us winning, and that Stallion can have some positive recruiting updates to give us...
