Whiskey before beer, in the clear. Beer before whiskey, a little risky.

I only drink to get drunk. Therefore, the drinking order Etiquette isn’t an issue.

They are mammals, they should be fine in early September.

Is there any reason folks can't show up Sunday night and start tailgating then? Would love to wake up to a cold-beer breakfast on game day!
I really shouldn't drink and type.

Tailgating used to be midnight to midnight. I'm not sure any longer. Guinness and doughnuts is an excellent breakfast. I hung out with some Notre Dame guys one St. Patty's Day and they had picked up a keg of Guinness which we finished before lunch.
"He was quoting the Bible, Revelations. 'Behold the pale horse.' The man who 'sat on him was Death... and Hell followed with him.'"

"You tell 'em I'm coming... and hell's coming with me!"

For all you barbecue guys, doesn't take like 14 hours to smoke a brisket? I see smokers on the 'vard, when do they set up?

You can pull the pit while the brisket is smoking in it to save time. However effective, not the safest thing to do. Last year was my first real year to get to the blvd. I quickly found that cooking on gameday sucks. If anyone has a good routine they would like to share I will gladly take some advice. Pony UP!

Wander up and down acting like you know someone at each location there is food you like and dig in. After a few games they will believe you belong there. It helps if you tell someone nearby "Try the potato salad, gumbo, jello shots, (whatever), I made it this morning." Just be sure you know that person did not bring that item.
