Was driving this afternoon, and heard that moron on the Frog network (Brian Estridge) say "we'll talk about the Tommy Blake situation in a few minutes." But then I got where I was going, and there was no way I was going to sit in the car to listen to two teams I can't stand. So:
1) What is the story with Blake?
2) After Froggy High rolled Baylor High, and Texas squeaked by the team we put up 50 on last year, that Frog/Cow game sets up to be pretty interesting. What time is that game going to be played? Any way we'll be able to watch it before we get into Ford Stadium to see the Ponies wail on NTJC?

TCUseless game and SMU game start an hour apart... TCU at Texas starts at 6PM... SMU and that NT team start at 7PM.
I am to be (stuck) in Austin next Saturday.... I wish the timing worked out differently, because I would pay money to be at that UT TCU game.

You'd have more fun up here watching the Ponies shut up all of the NTJC fans.

Blake has some emotional problems -- without giving more away than I should, a few weeks back he wasn't taking his meds, was admitted into a hospital, and was released on Friday.
He's got a lot going on in his life right now; pressure with NFL scouts calling him, texting him, etc is quite a lot for a young man..., and, to top it off, his grandmother, his guardian, has terminal cancer and is losing the battle as we speak.

Haha, yeah.... well, um, they are both coming in from Dallas, so that would make that kind of a tough sell.

Good god, how horrible. Hope he's OK to come back in early October.
Seriously  sorry to hear about his grandmother.
