Appalachian State (Boone, NC) is a Div. 1-A FCS team (formerly known as Div. 1-AA) and has two national championships to their credit under Moore. Michigan was outcoached and outplayed today. I can only hope that there will be a similar discussion on Monday about SMU's victory over Texas Tech.

By the way, the only other time that a D-IAA team or "lower level" team has defeated a top 25 team was back in the 1980s when Lamar defeated Baylor.
