End zone

Postby Pony_Fan » Mon Sep 03, 2007 6:49 pm

Tons and tons of empty seats on the End Zone for a sold out game. I was hoping for a full house, not the case at all.

Nice tackling guys, geez.

Chalk that up to a ticket office charging $47 a ticket online for end zone seats.

Wow, I'm surprised by that. The ticket police turned me away with my wife's ID. I was going to go with my three year old son, yell like crazy and buy food. My wife doesn't care much for sports unless we all go and there's room to roam around. The prospect of a packed endzone with two kids (3 and 5) at $47 apiece was a bit steep. Oh well, we ate at home and I listened to the majority of the game on the radio. I heard "Raider Power" come in loud and clear in the third quarter while awaiting a TD call. And I had to listen to the Tech station because the Ticket didn't broadcast the game for some reason and 1700 has weak reception. No biggee. Bring on UNT.

It doesn't look good for PB and the $700K we spent on the Pony Up campaign. It was a great effort and well orchestrated but you have to have a product to market with.
