We weren't very good

Postby George S. Patton » Mon Sep 03, 2007 8:42 pm

The whole game just reminded me of Albert Brooks' character in Broadcast News when he was anchoring and was overcome with flop sweat, the broadcast went down the tubes,

And he said, "Just how noticeable is this?'

It just got so off the chart bad, you had to just laugh incredulously.

It was a rotten, rotten day. They couldn't play much worse. Worst I've ever seen Willis. Give the damn ball to Martin instead of 8 times. Might be nice if our WRs catch a pass.

And for those [deleted] about Vincent Chase not catching enough passes and should be in the offense, hoped you liked that fumble.

I thought McCray played well. The DL just awful. OL was OK.

Edit: Few of us expected this team to win this game. I didn't. I think what makes us sick to our stomach is how poorly they played. Being a little more competitive. And we weren't close.

Also, Bennett said in the advance, that we can make a statement. Boy, you can fill in the blank on that one.

I guess we'll see where this program is going this year on Saturday. Talk about pressure on a team to win a football game. That's the group in University Park.
