the one thing that we really dont know is if it was truely our Defense that was yelling "ALL OUT", it could have been the tech O Line making that call, or the Tech coaches yelling that...but it could have been our players, i highly doubt that...you cant just always go on what the ESPN commentators say...because half the crap they said was garbage
Are you kidding? Where were you sitting? Our entire "D" & the coaches each had their fingers cupped together screaming something-- did they think Harrell was both deaf & blind? There are DISD (not even a Southlake) Middle Schools that are more creative in their defensive play calling.
sorry if im wrong...i could not make it to the game...
i could hear someone yelling "ALL OUT" on tv and the espn comentators were saying that SMU was yelling it... I know that O-Linemen make calls so i could be wrong
I don't have so much a problem with the playcalling, as I do what appeared to be a lack of readiness by this team.
They couldn't keep the running game going once they fell that far behind, and we KNEW that those DBs were going to be tough. Yet, there were throws to be had in the middle of the field. Yet the timing of the passing game was totally off. Willis either threw behind the recievers or, when hit in stride the recievers seemed surprised to get the ball (and dropped it). I have a hard time blaming each reciever for the individual problems without wondering about the coaching of all of the recievers. Granted I don't have the playbook in front of me, a lot of those drops looked like the ball was there on-time. So you have 3 of the "Stars" of the offense, all playing like it was their first game together. -CoS
There was no year to year progress, same amaterism from the bench! Time to go, we owe this staff nothing, they have overstayed their welcome.
Well said, Ponymon & Stallion. The blame starts at the top.
BRING BACK THE GLORY DAYS OF SMU FOOTBALL!!!
For some strange reason, one of the few universities that REFUSE to use their school colors: Harvard Crimson & Yale Blue.
Sober up!
