Before the game on Sat, PB declared this team's expectation was to win the CUSA. Granted, we all think that's overdoing it to varying degrees at this point...but man...how frightening is this...Can you imagine if by some miracle such a thing were to happen?

Who wants to play South Carolina in the Liberty Bowl? Steve Spurrier's fun n gun vs what we saw Saturday? Bwahahaha!

So I'm on record, I have exactly zero expectation that SMU wins CUSA, and zero to minimal expectation of a bowl game, although I expect there there to be a new coach if there is no bowl.

I don't think the Liberty Bowl — and therefore the CUSA title — is realistic, but if that were to happen, I wouldn't mind seeing us play the Indianapolis Colts, much less South Carolina. If we were to get to that bowl, it would mean a great year, and even if we were to lose big in a bowl game, it's a freakin' bowl game. I want to see the Ponies play in a bowl. We can worry about "favorable matchups" later.
