It’s out. Looks like NTSU, ND and Michigan made it. We are mentioned as a possible and if we lose to NTSU, we deserve the bottom 10. But imagine, how long has it been since SMU was seen as a better team (at least in this poll) than ND and Michigan?

Imagine, we are the stud of the crud between ND, Michigan and NTSU.

I'm surprised to see ND in the list. The coveted 5 spot belongs to Michigan, but I guess they couldn't put both ND and Michigan at #5 and that's why ND got #10...sort of like a second #5.

In this week's edition the Bottom 10 gave us a nice jab:
9. SMU 1-8 Mark Cuban lives in Dallas and could waltz over with a few extra bucks. Wait a minute, that's one of the reasons the Mustangs got into this position.

Speaking of Notre Dame, I believe UT can tie them this week as No. 2 on the All-Time NCAA Victory List behind Michigan. Hook 'em Horns.

Too bad the Mustangs didn't schedule the Irish for this season. Even if the Mustangs had lost, it would have been a sellout at Ford!

I have resign myself to another year of Bottom 10 avoidance being an accomplishment. I still think we have the opportunity to win a few and show great progress. But for now, I think this week will put us back to the Post DP status of Bottom 10.

There is a chance we might not make it this week with a few top 25 upsets and Michigan losing but with JJs big name and huge opening loss, we might make it because of that
