Okay I'm ready to start feeling better

Okay I'm going to blame myself for thinking that we could come close to beating Tech. It was just not going to happen. Even though UTEP almost did last year and they aren't any better.... stop it David!

Anyway, can we start thinking optimistically about UNT please?

I'm slowly getting over Monday and getting my head set for Saturday. Being at the Bus Stop always helps things go down better.

It was massively disappointing, but it was one day. I thought we were competitive in the first half in alot of ways just could not get over the hump on offense and turn field goals into touchdowns or stop third and long on defense. The good news is we scored on two possessions in the first half and tech scored on three, and they had one more possession. In other words, it wasnt as bad as that Rashaun Woods OSU game a few years ago when we just got mauled 10 different ways. The score was worse than the overall game in this case i think. as for the defense, we did force lots of third and long and i dont think tech was toying with us, so must have been doing something right two thirds of the time.

my biggest concern is why we came out from halftime so flat and no apparent adjustments that could be seen. as for being flat, maybe it had something to do with the pro-raider crowd.

I'm telling myself that I won't start panicking until after next Saturday. It is going to be one nerveracking season.

As a paying fan, you should expect the product on the field to at least have a chance to win. We are in over our heads against these Big 12 teams.
