When we do run it, Demyron needs to get his carries between the tackles! He's not going to outrun people or make many miss. He's a power guy, so running him outside is pointless in my opinion. I think everyone is overreacting a little bit...when we weren't dropping passes we had some success, we just have to bare down and get TD'S not FG's! We were physically overmatched at pretty much every position, so when start playing teams with the same size & speed i think we'll be ok.

Demyron...he lets his pads do the talkin. And his sideburns too. its easy to forget, but it was great the way demyron punished a few tacklers on separate runs in the first half. reminded me a bit of the Chris Phillips game against TCU when we lost in 2003 or so but he at least dished out some punishment in their secondary.

And what was graham harrell talking about in the paper about not remembering even being hit once? i seem to remember him doubled over in pain after one incomplete pass in the first half.

I don't know if he got hit or if his own man stepped on him, but he was definitely crawling around on the carpet for a bit.

It's difficult to take a hit standing behind 5 side-by-side SubZeros Refrigerators.

thats beauty of watching it on HD... the "hit" you are referring to was one of his own lineman backing into him

According to Coach Bennett at his press conference today, Martin will play more against North Texas — as he should.

UNT's offensive line has got to be smaller — a lot smaller — than Tech's, but I would bet their defensive line is, too. DeMyron Martin needs to get hacked off, lower his shoulder and run over some folks.
