Ganaway switching commitment not looking so bad.I know he is only a true freshman but he has 10 rushes for a whopping 18 yards.
We shouldn't be [deleted] him... NOBODY could run against that Oregon Defense.
Oh... Wait a minute... -CoS
Yeah, 11 rushes for 23 yds and a TD for a true freshman in his first collegiate game just sucks. Especially when he only carried the ball on 2nd or 3rd down and short situations. Maybe you should have waited until after the SMU game to make such a stupid statement.
Have you not learned from your time on this board that we need to make these statements before the game. They many times do not hold up afterwords. ![]()
Glad we're all on the same page on that. For what it's worth Ganaway averaged 3.1 yards per carry when given the ball on 1st down. He did pick up 2 of 5 short yardage 1st downs (one being a TD). So Ganawaymom has something positive to take away from this. -CoS
ooooh goody our little buddy gannaway fan is back. Please do tell us where he transfers after this year after he inevitably doesn't like his current stop
Dallas Mavericks - 2011 NBA CHAMPIONS!
Long live the Circle of Champions!
And he scored more TD's than the entire SMU football team. You can be jealous haters if you want. He did what he was asked up at Oregon, and did it pretty well.
And, at this point in the game, I would definitely say he got the better end of the deal.
They asked him to fail on 3 of 5 short yardage runs? Looks like the odds of winning in Houston just went up. -CoS
You can dog Ganaway and I all you want. Not sure what I ever did to you guys, and you can thank good ol' Phil for Ganaway losing interest in SMU. I won't play childish games with the 2 or 3 SMU folks that wanna be idiots. I would have been a big fan of any team that Terrance chose to play for. Just hate to see folks dog on the kid. He is a super kid as evidenced by the A's he earned in Chemistry and Finite Math in the summer sessions and the fact that he is taking a full 18 hours as a freshman as well as getting playing time on the UH football team. I realize he switched commitments a couple of times, but I am sure you changed your mind a time or two as an 18 year old. Take a look in the mirror and tell me just how perfect the person is that is looking back at ya. ![]()
Sure you will Mrs. Ganaway, that's why you're here. -CoS
It's certainly premature to bust on anyone in their first game. If you look at SMU's running game last week against a similar opponent (but at home), Mapps and Martin got the carries and respectively had 26 and 37 rushing yards. The only other back to carry the rock was Butler with two carries for six yards. Terrance is a true freshman and had 11 carries and a TD, albeit with only 23 yards. Houston's running game (OK, Quick Six) was fantastic so Oregon was pretty focused on it. Again, it was Terrance's first game as a TRUE freshman. Not bad at all and he has good size. Congrats on his classroom success.
