And fire the coach that got you there and then name the new practice facility after him. And accuse SMU of blackballing you because you cannot get out of the ShunnedBelt on your own. And troll the high schools for coaches. And cater to commuter students. And wish for a law school. And carry around a chip on your shoulder. And change your uniforms to mimic Southlake Carroll. And have ugly chicks. And wish for a rivalry with SMU that does not and never will exist. Etc., etc.
Damn, you're right. NTSU and SMU don't have anything in common. But enjoy your time on the Boulevard Saturday, especially if you have to go back to Denton afterwards.

Is it true? The latest line has SMU -17. I will believe it when I see it. Thank goodness a Greenie came on the board and talk a little trash. Now maybe we can stop bashing each other and bash the opponent.

"Mean Green" sounds like a prison football team. Do they have an extension of the school at Huntsville?

By the way, the Mean Green write up of their game day book begins with "These two schools continue their STORIED rivalry..." straight from the UNT SID.
Whatever he's taking, man I'd like some. I thought for a rivalry to exist it had to be competitive, not simply because your coach challenges another team to a football game in a supermarket parking lot where he was looking for the next Miss UNT.

I am not really sure what you gentlemen would like to see.
UNT has a brand new head coach, Todd Dodge along with his entire staff, they have installed an completely new system on both the offense and the defense. Dodge and his staff have little to no college coaching experience, and we have several true freshman starting and playing. IF that were not enough Dodge came in to repair a bad team that had a combined 5 wins over the last 2 years, and those returning players were recruited to play in a running offense.
Now SMU on the other hand is supposed to have their best team in twenty years, if I understand all the dark horse hoopla and marketing correctly.
These points together paint a pretty poor picture for us Mean Green fans, but I still feel we have a good chance for a win this Saturday. The reality is we have nothing to lose this season except bragging rights.
How embarrassing will it be when you lose to the Mean Green? Would it really end PB's stay with SMU?
I also believe that we may have more fans at the game then you pony boys, which may help us out quite a bit.
Good luck Saturday ponies!

1. It better end PB's stay @ SMU if the unforgiveable happens and SMU loses to NTSU in back to back years
2. Why do you think it would give you an advantage? Don't you think our guys are used to such things?

Since I invited the green machine to taunt us, I appreciate that sometimes I should be careful about what I wish for. Playfull banter is fun, but when UNT poor mouths thier coach as not having much college experience, someone needs to do thier homework. Dodge was an assisstant at UNT before he set records at Southlake Carroll. If UT had needed an offensive coordinaotr, Dodge might have been hired in Austin. SMU would have gladly taken him several times in the last six years. The OU disaster could have happened to SMU too if we had played there last week. Now having set some of the record straight, we're better than you are - naa, naa, naa.

Hairopoulos? No relation.
I don't even know for sure that she's actually Greek. My guess from the DMN photos is that the only Greek in her rolls over and goes to sleep afterwards.

Sir, I am not bad mouthing Dodge, in-fact far from it. I think Dodge will take UNT to new heights. Dodge was the passing game coordinator for two years while we were in D1aa, and I don't know if you would consider that a volume of experience. But maybe you would.
But homework sir? Yes mine has been done, but you may want to check your spelling before you turn yours in.
And a nana-nana boo boo we are coming for you!

This is sad. SMU fans are defending the UNT coach while UNT fans question their coach. What happen to the good old days when we just trashed each other? Geez, is this the PC diversity fan board?
Got to go, that NTSU guy just screwed up cutting my yard.

I'm at least trying to incite the fans of the school for trash truck drivers.

Judging by your attendance history more NT fans have Saturday off, then SMU fans.
Hey is NTSU supposed to be a shot?
