As opposed to darkening?

No, that only happens when we play SJSU.
It's a crappy job but someone's gotta do it.

Today's Arkyland Democrat Gazette (local paper) had a pretty long article about the delay. About two sentences concerning the game. ASU will continue their usual preparation routine as if they played last week. Other than that, nothing new to report.

Let's not take these guys lightly. They gave UT all it could handle and we saw how UT ground the Froggies into dust. We're clearly not good enough to take anyone lightly.

Definitely lets not take anyone lightly. We have been miserable on the road and Arkie State are going to gunning for us because of the embarrassment last year.

I think we are in for another shoot out this weekend and hopefully Willis is ready

It will be interesting to see how each team game plans.

When looking at film against better teams you never know if the game plan reflected what a team wants to do or what it felt it was forced to do.

I suspect that played a factor in SMU/UNT, seeing the OU film it would have been easy to assume UNT threw half the time because they were forced to when now it appears UNT would have probably preferred to throw even more against OU but due to six sacks felt they couldn't.

ASU ended up throwing as much as passing against Texas. Was that what the coaches want to do this year or was it recognition that it would be hard to run against Texas and have any success with last year's run first scheme? ASU started six drives with a pass and ran to start five. Last year that would have been more like 8 or 9 run and 2 or 3 passes. Since we didn't get to play Memphis we still don't know which is the real ASU scheme.
