I can understand the coach's reluctance to stay there. Might want to rent the house in the back ground, although I understand the owner doesn't maintain things in there very well.

Don't think it was a good idea to tell the world that the reason for staying in Memphis.

Who gives a damn? If ASU's coaches or players are worried that good ol' SMU is making derogatory remarks about the businesses that make up the local economy, the Ponies have this game won before the kicker tees it up.

So it was reported that the team will stay in Memphis,TN tonight and drive to the stadium 70 miles. The reason: there is no full-service hotel available in Jonesboro. How full-service are we talking about?

We don't need to make any excuses to the ASU folks about why we did not stay in Jonesboro......surely other teams have done so as well............
