We need some body who has been a successful head coach at a major college. A Doherty type hire. The hype and excitment that coach Doh brought to the B-Ball program is what we need. Hiring another OC or IAA coach will do nothing

Terry Bowden (currently lives in Orlando, knows Orsini from his days in Flordia.)
Gary Barnett (hell, he won at Northwestern)
Rick Neuhisel (national name)
Gary Crowton (La Tech and BYU HC, currently OC at LSU)
Jim Donnen
Dirk Kotter (Built the program at Boise State, former ASU coach)
Gibbs

if we are going to go after a Bowden, we need to go after Bobby, he's got to be getting bored at Florida State.
The donkey's name is Kiki.

On a side note, anybody need a patent attorney?

Took a woeful Buffalo program and instantly turned it around. I do not know how well he could recruit at the Div IA level, however.

Might as well target Lou Holtz. Carthel retired once (from the juggernaut he created out at Blackwater Draw-Eastern New Mexico) only to be coaxed back because WTAMU was close enough to his farm. He won't venture far from west Texas.

He's not getting bored at FSU...he's just sitting there like a fat cat earning a paycheck while everyone else does his job.

Whatever happened to Charlie Weatherbie? Once upon a time he was a hot name while coaching Navy, and I thought he was once a finalist at Baylor. Now he wound up at quite possibly the worst D1 job in America (yes worse than SMU)...UL-Monroe.

don't know but he's been there for 17 years. Neither he nor Bower would go anywhere but where they are.
