I don't expect it to happen, but I would not be surprised if SMU went out and beat TCU. Why? Because SMU never makes sense. There have been situations the last three years where we were sure the season was over, and SMU unexplicably won. SMU beat a better UAB team with the Romo miracle. SMU beat a better UTEP team at home Thanksgiving weekend a couple of years ago. SMU should have beaten a better Marshall team at Marshall were it not for a bad call. SMU was being handled by Tulsa in the first half last year...and found a way to win. On the flipside, SMU had Houston and Rice dead to rights last year and found a way to lose. For these reasons, while I again don't expect a win (quite the contrary, in fact), I wouldn't be shocked if SMU won.

What may be worse is how Schill...err...Gil LeBreton came to Patterson's defense in Sunday's FWST on Gary throwing Schultz under the bus. That's sickening.

But don't worry, you'll beat us by 50 BECAUSE WE SUUUUUUUCK!!!

Maybe the Froggies are fried and we keep it close ...somehow, maybe..haha. Based on what I've seen so far, TCU 45, SMU 21.

Our defense in that 1st quarter was really embarassing to see on TV.

I didn't read that but our OC handed them the game. Tie game, at the 20, 57 seconds left, 3 timeouts, with the wind and you throw a post-corner route across the field with a RS Freshman QB making his third career start??? I know he didn't have to throw the pass but why do you even give him the option? Patterson deserves blame too...he is the HC but I would have been tempted to fire Schultz on the spot.

Reed, don't be so [deleted] yourself. Air Force has had a quality and competitive program for decades. I look at Navy and see two disciplined service academies, who can hang with most Div. 1A schools, except the really big monsters.

Beside the MWC is what you wanted when you dropped CUSA.
