Lipttick on a pigThis season is looking tough for the Ponies as we did not play well against ASU. First, Kudos to the Indians on a great game. The only good news is that TCU is limping into this game as well and will view us as a tonic for their scoring woes. A pillow fight of the week is emerging. Can their QB complete a pass against our porous defense? Can their receivers hold on to them when they're wide open? Can Willis avoid turnovers against a tough Frog defense? Will we try and run this week in hopes of another 4th quarter swoon by the Frogs? Or will we be the 4th quarter swooners again? Lots of questions for this week. But it is clear, after last week, we need to pretty up the football team as best as possible and hope that the Frogs don't turn into princes this week. 1-3 will be a huge hole to dig out of.
Re: Lipttick on a pig
TCU hasn't really had trouble passing the ball, nor have dropped passes been a big problem. The Frogs passed for 205 vs. Baylor (6.8 per attempt), 208 vs. UT (5.6 per attempt), and 320 vs. Air Force (7.1 per attempt). The woes have been in the injury-riddled running game. Have yet to get it untracked this season. We've also had an inordinate number of turnovers for only three games -- 6 picks, 3 fumbles lost. ![]() These Frogs have horns!
well, Tech and UNT established that you don't need a running game, Arkansas State showed that if you do we cant' stop that either

On a side note, anybody need a patent attorney? Good, Bad...I'm the one with the gun.

TCU should rush for at least 400 yards Saturday night and your 2nd and 3rd string backs (without Brown) will be on their way to All Conference Honors !
