When Arkansas State drove 97 yards for a TD in the first quarter, somebody told me they never faced 3rd down.
Is this right?
And if it is, did the coaches go out for coffee during that possession?

I think one play was a 60 yard run. Tough to make a 3rd down when you cover that much in one play.

It was sooo sad. They started on their own 3...and then put on an offensive clinic. Since when does starting on the 3, not get the opposing defense "FIRED-UP".
Sure could use Carrington.

If you recall, our defense practiced that 97 yard drive with NTSU when Morstead hit his 72 yard punt. I think we perfected it this week.

I believe we are trying to get by this year with a "bend, but don't break" defense...unfortunately we are evidently still working on the don't break part.

it was almost like deja vu all over again. I know it crossed my mind that ASU might duplicate that 97 yard drive. That ain't suppose to happen.

I heard that we have hired Anne Murray to play at halftime of the UTEP game in an effort to drum up attendance. Im so excited.

It gets quicker each time. This week will probably be a 97 yard punt return.
