I have a weird feeling we might win this game. We actually match up better with this team than Arkansas State. If Aaron Brown plays then the matcup thing could change. Bennett is going to screw up all my plans and save his job this weekend.

that's what u might think with a normal team that's well coached. i'd certainly love to gulp that kool-aid with you, but the fact of the matter is that this a guaranteed flogging. we simply cannot play defense

How much of that defensive inability is based upon personnel? Losing Sturdivant, Rogers, Haywood, Carrington, etc. is awfully tough. I don't know how much you place on the coaches -- at least on that side of the ball.

But didnt we keep al of our 'backers and our CB's? Then why is our Pass D so horrendously bad?

I am not optimistic. But Bennett and Burns know that their phat is in the fire and they know they need to go back to the drawiing board. If I was Burns, I would move Willis under center so Martin can run off tackle and to have more play action. The Frog defense needs to be kept honest. The key to winning any game for us right now is to use up the clock. Let's put Martin where he can actually help us accomplish that feat. I don't see our defense improving this week we just don't have the manpower, so its up to the offense to help us out, otherwise its gonna be ugly.

We lost 2 players that we're AMAZING, and this season thus far has proved how critical they were to our defense as a whole.

Patterson takes away the Bi-Polar pills and slips him sugar pills the day before the game. I am surprised he has not barricaded himself in a mink coat like Demetruis Underwood did.
