with that last name, recruiting would get a lot easier for us. and we would have 2, count em 2, national coaches of the year in the two biggest sports on campus. not bad!!!

and when bobby retires he can recruit for SMU in Florida!!!!!

Um, how will SMU pay him? People better start sending checks to the Mustang Club with the caveat that it is intended for a new coach only.

If Bowden came to SMU, Pony Up or no Pony Up...SMU would have to be one of the only if not the only D1 school with two former AP coaches of the year leading the revenue sports.
