I wish we could lay off the kid's illness. If he has a problem that can be controlled lets just hope that he can continue to achieve as he has to date. I know it is in jest but this kind of reminds me of what we complain about other schools doing. We have a lot more things about TCU of which to make fun. .Just my thoughts. Not meaning to sound holier than thou.

I agree...it's a serious deal based on what I know (not much).

Sorry... Just so tired of all the doom and gloom around here...
I can't say much...I'm actually from Ft. Worth and I briefly had a pet horned frog...only back then we called it a horny toad...guess that's not PC any more...

What's wrong with the kid? Is he actually bi-polar?
The donkey's name is Kiki.
On a side note, anybody need a patent attorney?
Good, Bad...I'm the one with the gun.

No, I have no idea what is wrong with him. I was just having some pre-skillet fun. He is a great player.

The argument could be made that it is my business. If he has a serious psychological condition (which has been alluded to) that could potentially cause harm to not only himself but those around him then it is my business. It is particularly my business if the condition is such that it may be dangerous for others to be around him, and as part of the game he is interacting with the public and other potential innocents who may need to be protected (our players).
Oh, and I would request that you refrain from providing me with unrequested instructions on the proper courses of action.

He is back on his meds - it is none of your business. He is not "dangerous" and never was.

What an elaborate rationalization to justify prying into somebody's personal life just to satisfy your curiosity.

I don't think it's that big of a deal to be curious. Obviously other people on this board know what the kid's condition is. So, it's probably not a secret. Personally, I don't really care. PK, you could have answered with a little more tact.
"He was quoting the Bible, Revelations. 'Behold the pale horse.' The man who 'sat on him was Death... and Hell followed with him.'"
"You tell 'em I'm coming... and hell's coming with me!"

Probably so, but after reading a number of post making fun of the kid's problems, I finally felt the need to respond and "abezontar" was the lucky one to receive my thoughts...actually I thought my comment was relatively tame if not exactly tactful. It was obvious that the kid has been dealing with his situation for sometime now and it is a personal situation which really is none of our business...curious or not just like any similar situation you might find yourself in. If he cares to make it public then it's open to public discourse, otherwise we should honor his right to privacy. That's called good manners.
