I'd rather see Tommy Bowden after he gets axed at Clemson this year. One more mid-season slide and he's gone. More than competitiveness in the ACC, Bowden is being judged on the progress Spurrier is making at South Carolina.

Don't know about you guys, but I would be fine if Terry Bowden came here for a few years, won, and then left. If he builds us up and wins Conf USA or turns us into Boise State and then leaves....I can live with that.

Tommy Bowden would be interesting if he does get canned at Clemson....remember what he did at Tulane a few years back? 13-0 and a number 6 ranking.

If Clemson lets Tommy Bowden go, he will have a nice severance check to fall back on and may well just take some time off...or go the route that Terry went and do some TV work. Don't see him rushing back into coaching...especially for this job.
