Yikes!

Postby Statler » Wed Sep 19, 2007 7:33 pm

I know that this is really far into the future; however,....

Tulsa is ranked 4th in the nation in Total Offense! :shock:

Now they are ranked 109th in defense and it will probably get worse after they play OU this week.

(Wonder how much football the new Tulsa coach has forgotten?)

He probably hasn't forgotten as much as another coach we know and love.

He might as well make the C-USA West rounds if he comes here.

If we pay him he will come!
Girls LOVE hearing about things like my car and my season tickets. I usually try to work in what street my parents live on, just so they know where I'm coming from. That's a deal closer. Always be closing!

We saw what he did at Rice in one season, and in his first year at Tulsa........they look pretty good. He is a heck of a recruiter too. But Terry Bowden is still tops on my "dream" list.

If we are going to go after dream candidates I think we really need to consider Jesus, or even his father who, while a little old, still commands a lot of respect.

I don't think Graham is likely. Three jobs in 3 years in the same conference. Tulsa paid him big money-something like 1.2 Million. Too bad because he's now proven he can coach, great recruiter IN DFW too. He would have probably been my No. 1 choice but I'd put our chances at slim to none.

Please, Graham is a gifted recruiter.

Be he did not take Rice to the bowl game-- Burns kept us from that same bowl game.

It's amazing how some crappy play calling changes the 2008 C-USA canvas. Line-up in the "jumbo" package, send D'Mart up Rice's [deleted], &:

[1] SMU is basking from the bowl opportunity;
[2] Graham is still languishing @ Rice;
[3] And Tulsa is on a completely different road.

Tulsa coach Graham

Postby Charlie NT73 » Thu Sep 20, 2007 9:21 am

Remember that Graham signed a extension contract at Rice, then the next
day he left for his "dream" job, Tulsa. Will he leave Tulsa for a new wet
dream at SMU?
Yes- he is bringing in good recruits at Tulsa now, and is building up a good
team for the future. I do not see Graham leaving Tulsa any time soon.
