The question to be asked on Saturday

Postby George S. Patton » Thu Sep 20, 2007 8:25 am

For those of us who will journey to Amon Carter Stadium on Saturday and sit on the East Side, we really need to ask ourselves the following....

...Why are we here?

Even though it may be the biggest waste of $72 I've made in a while, I'm going because with a win it will be the best $72 I've ever spent.

Alas, being 8 months pregnant and my husband being out of town, I decided not to make the trip to that stinky craphole this year. I'm still torn though, because one of these years we're going to shut them up by winning in Fort Worth and I'd like to be there when that happens. I still hope it happens this year in my absence, and if it does, you may be able to hear me yelling in Fort Worth.

I missed the last Iron Skillet game because I got extremely ill the day of the game and I had to watch it on tv. There is no way I'm missing another one. Even if we only win once out of every ten that we play them, I want to be there that one time.

Good call, because if you child came early it would be a citizen of Fort Worth.

There are worse things than being a Fort Worth citizen

But they all get deleted if we say them on this board.

It is a chance to go to Joe T Garcias, fill the tank and drop some pocket change on the Everclear margaritas and enjoy the game as long as you drink enough pitchers.
Girls LOVE hearing about things like my car and my season tickets. I usually try to work in what street my parents live on, just so they know where I'm coming from. That's a deal closer. Always be closing!
