TCU Game Plan

Postby ponyinNC » Thu Sep 20, 2007 12:12 pm

we need demyron to run like he did 2 years ago...slow the game down, stick to a game plan (any game plan would be a nice change for us!), sustain a drive or two in the first quarter, let Jwill make a few reads, and allow the D to ease into the game.

i wonder what this team would play like with a lead??

we've yet to really see.

but this is the "save the coach" game, so who really knows what we'll do.

First line of the gameplan: have Henderson run the opening kickoff all the way back.

Henderson takes the opening kickoff for a touchdown, willis passes for three, Martin goes for over 100 and scores twice, sprinkle in a td for Mapps and we score 48 points I gotta believe if all that happens we might be in this thing!

Step one of our gameplan needs to be to actually HAVE a gameplan this week.

Gameplan . . .

Postby Squier05 » Thu Sep 20, 2007 2:34 pm

Here is my gameplan . . . get to tailgate early and get on the outside of as much BBQ and MillerLite as I can. This should help dull the pain induced by whatever happens inside the stadium, or serve as spirit fuel should we actually play to our potential this week.

I'd really like SMU to channel Barry Switzer and "run the damn run."

We have had one for the past three weeks, but getting behind really early and having to play catch up doesn't really allow for sticking to the original gameplan.
