SMU - TCU on at Fox and Hound

Postby Diamond Girl » Fri Sep 21, 2007 1:41 pm

For those pony fans who aren't making the trek to Fort Worth, Fox and Hound at Skillman is going to have the game on tomorrow night. It'll be shown on several screens throughout the establishment.

its really pretty sad when people will spend time to go to a bar to see SMU play but won't drive 50 minutes to Ft Worth to support the team.

It's hard to convince people to spend $40 a person to watch what will probably be a blow-out loss surrounded by taunting froggies.

That said, I'll be at the game anyway. Here's to an upset!

Amen. If I lived nearby and wasn't going to the SC game this weekend, I'd be all over that s#1t.

I agree. I understand some reasons for not going to the game. However, if you are able to go to a bar to watch a game that is within the metroplex, you should be at the game.

I can't believe that we have the time to spend all day reading and responding to football topics on the PonyFans message board, but some of us can't find the time to actually support the team in person against our chief rival.

Let's get our butts out to Fort Worth and support the Mustings.

Very true. I'll be at the game.

In case I forget, please remember to bring that up at the next Mustang Club meeting, and talk about it while you're making your contribution.

I had some errands to run in FW and went over to the TCU ticket office and picked up my three. We have seats in section T. If you buy them there, they are $30 a pop.

What the girl told me that the lower half of the section -- where you come through the portal -- has been sold or mostly sold. The section at the top was pretty wide open.

If you have no plans on Saturday night, come over. I may be disgusted with what I'm seeing, but I'm still going.

There are still places available on the buses to TCU so you don't even have to drive yourself. Can't get much easier than that. :D

Our defense sucks. Why would you waste the time to go over to cowtown to watch more terrible football and then be pissed driving home? Waste of time and money. And by the way, I went to the Rice game last year, so don't give me that fair weather crap. You are all freaks if you think this team has any chance of beating TCU.

Not to split hairs, but going to the Rice game last year, when there was the possibility of making our first bowl in two decades, and then not going to the TCU game this year because our defense is not good, is basically the definition of a fair weather fan.
