My wife and I spent more than $40 to go to Jonesboro last weekend. We saw no reason to throw good money after bad. We will go to the Fox and Hound and have dinner and watch the game. If it's a blow out (and I hope it isn't) we can go home early and watch UCLA and Washington on the tube.
For those pony fans who aren't making the trek to Fort Worth, Fox and Hound at Skillman is going to have the game on tomorrow night. It'll be shown on several screens throughout the establishment.
Not actually true. Tomorrow night is a UFC night, and half the bar will be closed off and showing only the Pay-Per-View, so they can charge a cover. The SMU game will probably be on in the two other rooms, but likely limited to one screen in each room.

Well, I went to Jonesboro last week with two other non SMU alums, and we spent a bunch more than $40. These same three suckers, will travel to Ft. Worth tonight, and just hope for the best.

Unless you live in Searcy, I want to know how 2 of you went to a college FB game and it only cost you $40.00. I may need you as my travel agent. It costs me a minimum of $300.00 to go to the home games, much more if I take my wife.

That isn't true. I talked to the manager there and he told me the game was going to be shown on several t.v.s. And by the way everyone who's ragging on people who aren't going to cow town: some of us simply can't, both financially and physically (e.g., M.S.), so don't be too quick to judge.

re: if you think this team has any chance of beating TCU.

I am not saying SMU is going to win tonight but did SMU
have "any chance" to beat TCU two years ago when TCU
was ranked alot higher than they are today?

Fox and Hound baloney instead of going to the actual game.

Because a few TCU fans might taunt us?

Hell what kind of attitude is that?

For those that can afford to go and can physically go you should be ashamed of yourself!
(which is probably 95%)

Look in the mirror and see part of the reason we suck.

Again I agree with Stallion.......thats pathetic!

And by the way, I went to the Rice game last year, so don't give me that fair weather crap. You are all freaks if you think this team has any chance of beating TCU.
