Any Word on Willis?

Postby JesuitPony » Sat Sep 22, 2007 11:47 pm

He took a pretty good shot to the ribs in the 4th quarter and looked to be in pain on the sideline.
I don't know about that, he seemed to be struggling... physically, mentally and emotionally...
.................................Ageed, when you just lock in on one receiver and if that receiver is not open, you just take off every passing play, you are going to eventually get your [deleted] kicked out there running that much......One good thing tonight was Willis did NOT carry the ball around like a loaf of bread. Good, lesson 1 accomplished and I agree the guy is a great competitor. Now if a Coach could just teach him some more fundamentals of being a good QB, we might win the majority of our remaining games and Willis might get to play football the remainder of the year without getting hammered.

He took a beating. He looked completely worn out. Those quarterback keepers all day long are not good to expose him to that kind of punishment.

UTEP's D isn't going to make anyone remember TCU's unit.

Willis throws three TDs Saturday (which, by the way, will tie him with Mike Romo for second on the school's all-time TD passing list).

I know that's funny...but it is just wrong, man. Just wrong. That would be so the ultimate in bad karma.
