One good thingwe actually threw deep 2 or 3 times (still not enough); however, in the last 3 games we barely tried to go deep except when we were getting killed.... I liked Justin's touch on the deep ball, we need to keep stretching the field

Agreed, Justin seems to have a very nice touch with the long ball.
#17 should be hit long more often. Sanders seems like a very special player. "THE SMU BLVD - - NO PLACE ELSE" (retired)

Didn't help that Gumbo got taken out of the game early. ![]()
I agree about Willis' touch on the long ball. But can we please take the out route out of the playbook? That's the second week in a row that throw has been picked off. It looks like Justin doesn't have enough arm strength to put any zip on that throw.

im pretty sure it was just a check down to DM out of the backfield... WEST DIVISION CHAMPS 2010
Maybe so, but our desire to throw out into the flat for 1-2 yards has become legendary. And they are not relief valve passes, they are primary receiver routes. Let's thrown the ball past the 1st down markers.
haha totally true. why can't our primary routes be 25 yards down field? why in the heck is there absolutely zero separation between our wr's and opponent db's. it seems whenever our opponent passes we're rarely all over the receiver
