Willis has raw talent but doesn't do the little things like pump fakes or looks off defensive backs which he should be able to be taught if someone coached him on the little things. And speaking of players, Bell was all over the place on punt coverage, I would love to see him play corner or safety sometime this year!
A QB coach? how about the passing coordinator from southern miss during the brett favre days?? oh wait we do his name is larry edmondson

McKinney would be a DE at TCU.
Just get the guy on the field - on defense or offense. I thnk he would be a great DE - he has demonstrated that with his special teams play. But he also looks like he could be a fullback, where we played him some in the past. It is such a waste to have a player like that riding the pine.

sideline fails to mention a problem he went off record and informed me...
Justin is a franchise type player that should be built around. He shouldnt be asked to carry it all, and doesn't accuse SMU of doing so.
Justin is still young and his natural leadership abilities will continue to develop with proper coaching, which ultimately provides more confidence.
The offensive gameplan needs a tad more diversity and in turn offer more opportunities for plays to be made by a wider base of your talent pool, ie McKinney.
Just put hungry football players on the field and lead them

Yeah. Well, how is that working out since Larry is the WRs coach and Burns is OC/QB coach? That's what their job description says.
Again, we need a coach whose job title is QB coach.

he was actually the WR coach at SM but was their passing coordinator, im knew to this whole football thing but i think Wr's play a vital part of a QB development. Drops don't help either

Again, this whole thread was not designed to address the WRs and OL. I said earlier they are valid. I'm talking the QB position and everything that goes into playing it.
A BONA FIDE DI PROGRAM NEEDS A QUARTERBACKS COACH. PERIOD!!
This is really not hard to understand.
