Six didn't get a bowl last year. Probably need 6-2 in conference.

We have 6 bowls tie-ins this year (Hawaii, Liberty, GMAC, R+L Carriers, Texas, Papajohns.com). We would get a bowl with 6 wins this year. There were only 5 bowl tie-ins last year, so it was a little harder.

does PB keep his job if our 7th win is in a bowl?

I would believe so. I don't think the university can afford the bad publicity it would receive for firing the first coach in 23 years to get SMU to a bowl game (much less win it).

SMU won't have to worry about 'firing' PB because he will resign whether he makes it to a bowl or not.

will he leave a manifesto on ponyfans?

I am not selling SMU's items on ebay. I am selling MY items - some with SMU branding - on ebay. And for someone with an SMU education, you should have learned that "it's" is a contraction of the words "it" and "is", not possessive.

i was a finance major, they don't teach writings... it's made law school tougher...
