At Bama, he had to recruit against Auburn, Georgia, etc., and came out with some stud players before he ran off to cash A&M's bigger check.
Didn't he bail on Alabama just before they got put on probation?

Of course he did. A&M offered him a truckload of cash around the same time, so he had a convenient "out" when he claimed he wanted to coach in Texas. For a couple million a year, I might wander through College Station until a better offer comes along, too.

exactly my point:
1. he's a douch3 bag, couldn't stand him from the first time i met him at TCU
2. ALL he cares about is $$$ every job is his dream job, although i really do think A$M was his true dream job

Life's a [deleted] and then you die. If A&M was his dream job, then he is [deleted] out of luck for a future gig to match his dream. He won't be coming to SMU, and that's fine with me.

I certainly don't care if they're mad, but maybe they can work some of that new hopping skill into their band's halftime routine, while they're bowing down to that mutt.
Contact Don Hopkins at 214-SMU-BAND. I am sure he will give the Aggie Band the Fiddler on the Roof show.
Just send 'da money.

Let's just hope that Fiddler on the Roof doesn't appear at a halftime show --- EVER!!!
