He was #59 in the DFW area and the #28 on the Rivals Dual Threat QBs list. He had offers from SMU, Tulsa, New Mexico, and Kansas State.

Thanks again. At my age I forget things quickly. It really helps if you are an SMU fan. So you youngens' have faith that the day will come that your memory will fade and you will be able to wake up every Saturday expecting a win. You get disappointed a lot in the off season when there is not a game on Saturdays.

I have a thing for bad teams... i guess it's my fetish (thats what she said). i blame it on my great grandmother (we"re from springfield, MA originally). unfortunately she died at 102, in 2002. I always thought she would make it until the red sox won again... when we won it i figured she was sitting next to ted williams, since she talked about until the day she died.

Guys, this is a recruiting thread...if you want baseball, go to that thread...WAIT...in order to do that, SMU needs a baseball team!!!!
THAT IS A GREAT IDEA....
Wish to bloody hell we had one.

I think with whiskey you won't care that you can't remember anything...so depending on how great your desire is for a remedy, whiskey could very well be OK.

I hope when they being it back that they can get some players from the reinstated mens track team that was revived first. If we are going to bring a sport back, why not start with one in which we won some relatively recent national championships, rather than one in which we were always lower tier.

that QB UH just got a commitment from is just about the top hurdler in America. Track teams can give a school a significant advantage in recruiting. Maybe 1-2 players a year. But the occassional Michael Carter, Rod Jones., Mitchell Bennett, Ronald Morris can't hurt your football team.
