No BIG NAME COACH or any coach in the NFL now would want to be the HC for this program...

In Gibbs, Bowden and Mason you have proven coaches that have been successful at top programs in the Country. Each has some negatives-if he didn't he wouldn't be a candidate for the SMU job. At 1.2 or more per year you could get them to at least discuss the position. I think each would give an honest assessment of the program w/o sugar-coating what needs to change in the program. That's why I'd love to see them interviewed. An assistant like Cavan or Bennett is just going to tickled to get a shot at a Division 1A program.
