Saturday won't be the last timethat everyone freaks out over a game we shouldn't have lost. Even with a new coach, there are going to be disappointments. Maybe not as many, but...case in point. Lovie Smith was the NFL coach of the year recently and took the Chicago Bears to the Super Bowl last year. The Bears led 13-3 against the Lions yesterday at end of third quarter. They lost 37-27. Basically, they collapsed and everything went wrong. Lovie didn't look very smart yesterday. I am not defending Bennett as much as I am saying it happens and will happen to us again even if we get your choice in coaches in here. Teams fall apart mentally and physically, sometimes within a game. Sometimes over a stretch of games. Any New York Mets fans out there? How bout those Mets? On the college level, Jo Pa himself allowed Penn State to turn the ball over 3 times in the red zone last week and lost by one score. 3 times in the freakin red zone! What the hell was Jo Pa thinking? Does he not teach fundamentals?
Since professional football has been mentioned on this thread, could someone remind those Bengals from that town in Ohio that football players just shouldn't be allowed to wear uniforms that look like kids pajamas...
They look RIDICULOUS tonight on MNF !
give it a few years. all the uniforms will look like something out of the XFL or CFL ![]() ![]()
