you left that out of your previous posts, without any kind of connection to either person or reason to believe you it sounded like mere speculation.
The donkey's name is Kiki.
On a side note, anybody need a patent attorney?

My bad. That is the only reason I think we would have a shot with Bowden. In the past, Bowden did not want to uproot his family as he had young kids, but now he is ready and Steve knows his cell number!

He has young kids? Another great selling point, Doherty said his wife loves the schools in University Park.

Bowden used to have a radio show on the Orlando ESPN afiliate and likely would have interviewed Orsini at some point. Bowden recently moved to Tallahassee to spend time with Papa Bowden and gear up for a coaching run. He is definitely looking to get back in to coaching, but I have a hard time believing that he would accept a position with SMU (although I would like to see what he could do with our program).

its an intriguing possibility but it ain't gonna happen. and it wont even be because of money. smu could find the money. coaches with names and reputations to protect just aint coming here. Bowden still has a name. If this was three years ago, O"Leary might come, but not now and i dont think a guy at his age has the energy to overcome the obstacles here anyway.

If you are a coach with something to prove then SMU is the perfect choice. If you can bring SMU back to glory then you have enshrined your name among the greats. I think Spurrier took that dog of a SC program for the same reason. I am not comparing the two schools-so don't start typing.

I agree in theory. But coaches don't see it that way. All coaches have something to prove or else they would be retired. The question is not what do they have to prove, it is what do they have to lose? A chance for a bigger job, their very career, their reputation, their daddy's name, their yahoo gig....

Speculation is that a promised membership at Augusta National was part of the deal.

more than a few in my opinion. Indiana for one. Hell, when is Papa Bowden going to retire and which little Bowden is taking over FSU? Maybe Terry goes back and works with dad until he retires.

Jimbo Fisher has the inside track on the FSU job.

Jimbo Fisher left the OC job at LSU to go to FSU on the "promise" that he would take over for Bowden when he leaves.
