Dallas Morning News comments on TCU vs. SMU"TCU is the model SMU aspires to be. If that offends those on The Hilltop, then so be it."
DMN 9/23/07 http://www.dallasnews.com/sharedcontent/dws/spt/columnists/jtaylor/stories/092307dnspotaylor.3842599.html This shouldn't offend you because it is just a simple fact. I know of alot of hard working SMU guys that aspire to be more succesful and educated, like me (a TCU grad). I am proud of you Ponies for setting lofty goals....but since you graduated from SMU, reaching the same achievements in life that we TCU grads accomplish is simply not possible. Oh yea, your football team should also aspire to be like our team. When was the last time you were ranked? It's just not fun any more, since the education and sports is now so lop-sided in favor of TCU. Later Losers "TCU is the model SMU aspires to be. If that offends those on The Hilltop, then so be it."

So with that fine TCU education it only took you 2 weeks to figure out how to post on Ponyfans. Way to go.
That's how important this SMU rivalry has become to me.
Seriously, I ran into my yardman yesterday and he said he was on ponyfans check on his alma mater. That reminded me that your still have a website and a school, so I posted this for your pleasure. "TCU is the model SMU aspires to be. If that offends those on The Hilltop, then so be it."

Re: Dallas Morning News comments on TCU vs. SMU
well stated
I peed in your bushes after burning Pony Up in your lawn. And I've told you a dozen times, you can't pay me in Chuck E Cheese tokens, even if you do get an employee discount.

Wow, I could use you as another administrative assistant to find typos. "TCU is the model SMU aspires to be. If that offends those on The Hilltop, then so be it."

Hmm, apparently you majored in English at TCU. GO MUSTANGS!
FIGHT ON!
Apparently this "succesfful" Frog got a dual degree in computer science and English (look it up, Frog, it's a language). Somehow, methinks this guy missed Kate H's story about graduation rates at various schools. It's OK, little Froggy. I live in Fort Worth, but like all proud SMU grads, I can at least remind you that WE GOT IN.
Hey TCU Owns You,
When both of us were cheating in the 1980's we had enough class to pay our players and buy them cars. Unlike some people who holed up recruits in a motel with prostitutes three days before signing day. We may suck at football now and long into the future, but we will always have class. Something TCU knows nothing about. If Forth Worth is so great, why don't they call them the Fort Worth Cowboys? "Don't ever underestimate the heart of a champion" - Rudy T.
Re: Dallas Morning News comments on TCU vs. SMU
Fixed it for you. Hope that helps. It's a crappy job but someone's gotta do it.
TCU has the biggest inferiority complex ever...much like the town of Fort Worth has with Dallas.
Every TCU grad I know, including some good friends, is constantly talking about how much SMU sucks; whereas, I could care less about TCU. I am totally apatheic. I actually know nothing about the school and am very excited about the fact that I never will. Same thing with FW. People who I have met from there talk about how much Dallas sucks. No one from Dallas talks about how much Fort Worth sucks, because they just don't care enough. All of this drives TCU fans crazy. They come and talk all sorts of noise on our boards and no one really cares, b/c they are TCU. They are irrelavent.
