My mistake. Looks like it was accredited earlier this year. That's definitely good to hear.
Yea, we applied for it 18 months or so ago. You have to have a graduate of the program in question (BSCE in this case) before they will consider the program; the accreditation is retroactive. They come in (after you pay them to send an evaluation team) and check everything out, make sure you actually do legit stuff... And then they wait for the following August to announce your acceptance or whatever, and update every October 1st.
The funny part is, ABET requires that you get on the same re-inspection cycle as the other ABET accredited schools, which means they'll be back to visit next year.
