Maybe someone on the roster (or a recruit) has a parent about to take a job at SMU. Don't employees get a tuition benefit for their children? Dement's son was a recipient, wasn't he?

With 7 freshmen, I would say the odds are very good that at least one if not two players get homesick, don't like their playing time, flunk, don't like Doherty, whatever.........

Getting the W, getting the MVP, and besting Jrue Holidays team, in a game Dubois probably had to guard him, is a damn nice accomplishment.
