To paraphrase (I believe) T.S. Elliott, "This is the way the world (game) ends, not with a bang, but a whimper.

I agree with the earlier post..Did anyone actually believe they would not run right over us in overtime?

I rest my case. Les Miles has the balls of an elephant. Kick the FG to win? eh screw it! Let's get a TD!

We tackle like a bunch of girls. Haynes needs to be kicked off defense.

Don't worry, they carted him off the field at the end of the game.

Hopefully it's not too serious.

Actually, wasn't the somewhat confusing quote from the other thread "we're in so love"?
Made my brain hurt.

Tied the record for an opponent rushing against us - over 350. THis is like a broken record this season, rewriting the record books.

He did break Rosevelt Leaks' record against us?

I think it was 73, and we were up 14-0 at half against Texas. In the second half the dam broke, and the DMN had SMU SPRINGS LEAKS :!:

FWMustang wrote:WHY, WHY OH WHY would we not go for two? Forte was going to kill this D in OT, just like UTEP. Your job is online (ok, you are done) but still go for it. What do you have to lose. might catch Tulane off guard. How about the trick FG/PAT ala LSU?

No imagination. We are Steve Friselli[Ed Norton] in The (new) Italian Job.

I am just about done, folks. Can't stand much more of this.

i like that logic. i am out of town but i tivo'd the game. seriously, why not? this team can't handle the pressure of winning in OT, home or away. so why not catch 'em off guard. 7 ticks left, tulane wouldn't score again. i would have loved that and like you said, what's the worst that can happen? they fire him?
