Whatever happened to David Allison?

This guy looked like he could really have contributed, but he just seems to have fallen off the radar. Whatever happened to him? Anyon know?

I was told that he just didn't want to play anymore. I heard he is a student at U of H.

Lost the desire to play football.
Last I heard, he transferred to get a forestry degree. Wants to be a ranger or somesuch.

Last time I heard he is now a Sergeant over the disciplinary segregation unit in Liberty County.

Stallion, do you know the number of scholarship players that have left the program in the last 3-4 years, starting with Reggie Carrington? And why?Allison went to Midwestern State to be a park ranger.

No but it really is less turnover without a doubt that the vast majority of schools. I know that is hard to believe but all you have to do is see the number of schools annually handing out 25, 28, 32 and even 38 scholarships each year to realize that the turnover is not unusually high. But when you are taking a class where 50-70% of the players are marginal players it can hurt to lose key recruits.

That was the point that I knew only you could make. We can't have injuries or player leaving school. Our defense lost our starting MLB, FS, and both DE's have been hampered all year with injuries. Is this PB's fault? No! This is just football at SMU until something changes at the top. And I hope Turner and some of the board of regents are reading some of these post.
