I'm sure he recorded the game and has a chance to watch it over and over and over again if he would like.

I also want to say that he was the captain of the 1977 team, Fullback and captain. If he was, hmm seems like it might be fitting for the captain to be there with his team.

It's his alma mater. We all show up week in and week out to watch, well, football here. Why? It's our alma mater. You love it because it's yours.

He was right to go, stop [deleted]. Just because he wasn't here for 3 1/2 hours last night doesn't mean he has no earthly idea of what's going on back in Dallas.

I'm thinking perhaps he's already "seen enough."

After the way ND played yesterday, maybe he wishes he had stayed in Big D. At least our game was close (or the score made it sound like it).

Orsini WAS there, just stuck in line for 3 hours trying to get a packet of mustard for his cold hot dog.

One thing that some of you are not thinking about is the fact that a special game like that might give him the chance to network and come up with potential coaching candidates for football or some of the other sports at SMU. Of course, it could be a great way to put your name in for the AD positon at Notre Dame also!

Attending the 30th anniversary (as captain) of his national championship team is important. He knew what was going to happen at Ford Stadium. If he was smart, he was circulating his resume to get out of this hell hole.
