SMU Fan Needs Your Prayers

Postby Special_Delivery_Smu_Fans » Thu Oct 25, 2007 2:48 pm

One of the Special Delivery guys, Tex McDonald,
just found out today that at the age of 42 he has 3 major
blockages and will need thriple bi-pass surgery this coming Monday.

Tex is a regular at the Special Delivery Tent on the BLVD
and is usually the one cooking the brats. Tex actually started
feeling bad on the Blvd last Saturday and left before the game
started.

Please keep Tex in your prayers over the next few days.
We need Tex on the BLVD for many more years and
hope that he has a speedy recovery.

Seriously, get well, dude. The good news is this is not a very risky procedure anymore I don't think, kinda like a trip to the dentist. Well, maybe a little more risky than that, but probably not as much pain.

This guy is not only a good man but my main chef. Get well and stay well. I have known a few people that have had the procedure and felt so much better afterwards. Look forward to having you on the Blvd soon. Thoughts and prayers from my family are being sent.

Have an aunt who had triple bypass recently, and she's getting better every day. Slowly but surely. If she can do it, so can Tex. All the best.

Father in law had this done earlier in the month. Really, really scarry, but to the Doctors who do this, it's like changing oil. Bottom line, he's doing great and I 'm confident that Tex will as well. God speed.

My thoughts, and those of my family are with him. If he is a Mustang he must have a big heart.

I went to visit Big Tex in the hospital tonight, the phone didn't stop ringing the whole time, and visitors were in and out of the room. If you know Big Tex, you can't help but like him..........he's just one of those types of guy's. I told him of his well wishers on PonyFans, and he said "you tell all my Stanger friends hello" Get well soon Big Tex!

Big Tex...I know you'll pull thru this like the trooper you are! I'll be keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. And, by the way, the brat at last Saturday's tailgate was PRIMO! Get well soon, buddy...

Tex, we all look forward to seeing you again on the boulevard, and we'll all lift a cold one when you get back (even if your "cold one" has to be ice water from now on).

It's kind of scary, a triple bypass for a guy the same age as me, and 100 pounds lighter. I better get back on the treadmill.
Try not to choke on the Kool-Aid.
